The 4.5 W, solar charge holding kit is designed to maintain all 12 V lead-acid batteries. It preserves the battery’s charge and service life during prolonged periods of inactivity (e.g. long-term parking).
User Benefit
Solar charge maintenance kit designed to trickle charge you 12 V battery. It is fitted with suction cups so that it can be fixed to the inside of your car windscreen or any other window, and either connected directly to your battery using the crocodile clips or via your cigarette lighter socket to help prevent your battery from draining when not in use for prolonged periods of time. Ideal for maintaining your classic car battery or motorbike battery, when left un-driven of weeks or put away for the winter.

- Blocking diode to prevent reverse charge.
- Keep your 12 V battery topped up when not in use.
- Interchangeable connectors included, alligator battery clamp & cigarette lighter plug.
- In some makes of vehicle the cigarette lighter may not operate when the ignition is turned off. In these cases connect directly onto the battery using the alligator battery clams and cable provided.
- As long as there is sufficient sunlight available the charger will produce an electrical current to trickle charge your battery.
- The charger will not damage or over charge your battery; similarly the blocking diode ensures that the charger cannot flatten your battery.
- The charger is designed to top-up battery charge as a result of natural drainage; it is not intended to recharge a battery that has fully discharged.
Warranty
The warranty covers faulty workmanship for 2 years from the date of purchase (parts and labour).
The warranty does not cover:
- Transit damage.
- Normal wear of parts (eg. : cables, clamps, etc..).
- Damages due to misuse (power supply error, dropping of equipment, disassembling).
- Environment related failures (pollution, rust, dust).

All UK Mainland orders are delivered free using our UK Mainland Standard Service provided by DPD or Royal Mail depending on weight of the item.
Any order including an item(s) over 30kg up to 99Kg will be sent via DPD. All other orders will be sent via Royal Mail. If the item is over 30KG there may be additional charges.

Incorrectly ordered or no longer required items: Report within 30 days of receipt
We offer full refunds for returned items, excluding any postage and packaging costs incurred during shipping and/or collection. A restocking fee of up to £8.50 applies to each order that is returned. To qualify for a refund, the goods must be returned in their unopened original packaging, complete, and in a resalable condition. The goods must be free from any marks, such as pen, paint or scratches. Branded packaging must also remain unmarked, without pen traces, paint, or "Document Enclosed" pouches. Please notify us of your intention to return the item within 30 days of receiving it, using the return links provided above. The returned goods must be received by us within 40 calendar days from the date of delivery.
Faulty items: Report within 30 days of receipt
If you identify a fault with your item, please email us at web@cmtl.co.uk within 30 days of receipt, providing a photo or video along with a description of the issue. We will arrange a collection for a replacement or refund at no cost to you. If there's any uncertainty about whether the item is defective or has been misused, we will send it to the manufacturer for further evaluation. Should no fault be identified, the item(s) will be returned to you and we reserve the right to charge for re-delivery. After 30 days, any faults will be managed through the manufacturer's warranty.
Incorrectly supplied or damaged items: Report within 24 hours of receipt.
If you have received an incorrect item or your item has arrived damaged, please notify us within 24 hours of receipt. You can do this by email web@cmtl.co.uk . We will arrange for the collection of the item and provide either a replacement or a refund at no additional cost to you. However, if no damage is found, we reserve the right to charge for collection and re-delivery or to recover these costs from your refund. We strongly recommend inspecting all goods prior to use, as any issues identified after use will be addressed through the manufacturer's warranty.
Missing items: Report within 24 hours of receipt.
If your order has been partially delivered, please notify us within 24 hours of receipt by emailing us at web@cmtl.co.uk. Should the missing items be deemed untraceable by our courier, we will provide either a replacement or a refund equivalent to the value of the undelivered item(s).
